County Sheriffs of Colorado - Statewide Wellness Program
The County Sheriffs of Colorado (CSOC) may provide mental health and wellness resources to members of the organization to assist sheriff agencies in rural and/or small counties in providing direct access to services. Through grant funds awarded to CSOC by the Peace Officers Mental Health (POMH) program, agencies without established wellness resources or programs can request services for wellness checks, critical incident debriefs, wellness in-service training, and individual counseling for agency personnel and family members, at no cost to the agency.
Guidelines
To help agencies participate in the programs under this grant we have partnered with Code-4 Counseling along with their non-profit organization, It’s a Calling Foundation, to deliver direct services to you and your staff. CSOC will not be privy to the details of any direct service request. Instead, all requests will be sent directly to their clinical team via the website: https://www.code4counseling.com and CSOC will be invoiced for services rendered. Data required to complete grant reporting (date of service and type of service provided) will be provided through the invoice sent to CSOC.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the resources under this grant, agencies must meet the following criteria:
Be a current member of CSOC at the time of application.
Have limited or no resources to provide specialized responder behavioral health services needed.
Submit the completed application/information on this site.
The grant funding for this program is available through June 30, 2024. CSOC will submit a new grant request to continue these services past this date should we be able to demonstrate the need and success during this grant cycle.
Please do not hesitate to work with the team at Code-4 Counseling to request the services needed for your agency staff.
For questions relating to the grant and CSOC’s role, please contact Amy Nichols.
